    Feeding Unit

    Compression Unit

    Equipped with differential and high-low pressure hydraulic design for higher efficiency and lower power consumption. Fitted with low-noise circuit and premium domestic & imported parts. Working pressure: 16~18 MPa; main cylinder bore: Φ120~Φ160 mm; compression force: 60 tons. Uses 46# anti-wear hydraulic oil and water cooling.

    Compaction & Size

    Precision-machined ram ensures stable operation. PLC-controlled hydraulic holding delivers consistent bale density.

    Motor power: 18.5 kW + 4 kW; Oil pump: YCY60 (150 ml); Power supply: 3-phase 380V. PLC automatic & manual dual control, low failure rate and easy maintenance.

    Q1: How many feeding modes does this horizontal baler support? Can additional modes be installed and switched later?
    A: This horizontal baler supports three feeding modes: air suction pipeline feeding, conveyor feeding and manual feeding. The feeding hopper is reserved with standard connecting flanges and mounting brackets. Conveyor or air suction components can be installed on manual feeding models without modifying the main chamber or hydraulic structure.

    Q2: The rated compression force of this machine is 60 tons. Can it process both light waste paper and rigid carton trims? Do we need to replace the ram accessories?
    A: No ram replacement is required. The PLC is built with dual density modes: reduce pressure holding time for soft waste paper and extend it for rigid cartons. The integrally milled thickened ram is universally compatible with both materials.

    Q3: Our workshop has ordinary cement floor. Does this machine require reinforced concrete foundation?
    A: No. The integrated heavy frame weighs 5.5 tons and can be put into operation directly on flat ground. The floor only needs a load capacity of no less than 8 tons, saving civil engineering costs.

    Q4: The machine is equipped with 2.6mm/3mm steel wire for strapping as standard. Can we use 2.0mm thin wire to cut operating costs?
    A: It is not recommended. The automatic wire twisting mechanism is designed for 2.6–3mm wire. 2.0mm wire is prone to breakage and loose bales.

    Q5: This horizontal baler adopts differential high-low pressure hydraulic system. What are its core advantages over ordinary single hydraulic circuits?
    A: The differential system realizes dual-speed compression. The ram moves fast during idle travel and maintains high pressure during compaction. It shortens compression cycle by 30% and cuts no-load power consumption for long-term energy saving.

    Q6: The machine runs under fully automatic control via PLC and sensors. Will the bale counting data be lost after power failure and restart?
    A: No. The electric system is fitted with a power-off memory module. Data including total bale quantity, pressure holding value and bale length are permanently stored and no reset is required after restart.

    Q7: The strapping unit is equipped with shear-type cutters. Do we need to replace the whole assembly when the blades wear out?
    A: Only the blades need replacement. The housing and wire feeding rollers can remain intact. With quick-release bolts, one operator can finish blade replacement within 10 minutes.

    Q8: Material jamming occurs when baling hard cardboard. How to solve the problem with the machine's own structure?
    A: 1. Extend the auxiliary stroke of the hydraulic feeding pusher; 2. Use the front shear cutter to chop thick and hard materials; 3. Apply negative pressure of the air suction pipeline to feed materials and avoid bridging and blockage.

    Q9: Is the automatic strapping mechanism of this horizontal baler prone to failure? What regular maintenance is needed to extend its service life?
    A: It features a simple structure with low failure rate. Clean wire scraps daily, apply grease weekly and check the tightness of wire feeding rollers monthly. These routines greatly reduce wire twisting jams and wire breakage.

    Q10: If bales are loose and uneven in density during operation of this horizontal baler, which parts should be checked first?
    A: 1. Hydraulic pressure holding parameters; 2. Oil leakage of main cylinder seals; 3. Loosened anti-slip baffles causing eccentric material loading; 4. Mismatched strapping wire specifications.
